This makes use of the Flow Detail Record (FDR) feature on Packeteer units. The Packeteer flow detail record feature has the following requirements:
- PacketWise v7.0.0 or above
- Packeteer 1200, 1550, 2500, 4500, 6500, 8500, 9500, or 10000 models
- 256 MB minimum memory
To define FDR collectors:
- Click the setup tab
- From the Choose Setup Page list, choose flow detail records
- For each required collector, specify the following:
- Collector IP - IP address of the Scrutinizer machine
- Port - UDP port number of the collector (default for Scrutinizer = 2055)
- Record Type - Set this to NetFlow-5
- Enabled - Selecting on enables the collector
- Click on apply changes to update the settings
